I got to know HanLin not from any roadshow, not by any referral from friends or colleagues but from one of the least expected channel which I never had thought so. I was stopped by a marketer at a MRT station on my way home from work, which I normally will just ignore and moves on. I don’t quite remember what happened that day where I didn’t ignore the approach but instead, I followed the marketer back to their temporary booth and sat down at a table where there the first time I met this energetic and generous young person, HanLin.
He introduced himself but I stopped and interrupted him right before he started to sell his packages and I told him,” I am really tired and also I just been informed of retrenchment and will be jobless in a month time.” I left my phone number with HanLin and told him to contact me again after 3 months if he still keen on meeting me while I am trying to look for a new job. Time flies and one day, I received his call but my situation still not stable and I once again told him to contact me again after few months. It was almost more than 7~8 months from the day we first met until we finally sat down with my wife ready to talk to him. Yes, he does impressed me on his persistence and the follow-up.
HanLin spent some times to understand our personality, our financial status and what on our mind before started to share his thoughts and suggesting an appropriate proposal of policy packages offered by their company. To be honest, among all of the insurance agents or financial advisors whom I had met in my past, this was one of the most relax experience and the whole discussion and sharing wasn’t under any pressure or no sense of him being pushy to come to a closure. With a satisfy proposal which actually pretty close to what we originally had in mind before meeting him, we decided to proceed with the proposal.

I met Han lin eons ago before he stepped into the financial industry. I have always known him as a reliable, trustworthy and no fluff kinda guy.
